Old Vinyl Records
Buying & Appraisal

We examine your vinyl record collections, forgotten on dusty shelves and witnessing the golden age of music, based on their condition and rarity, and purchase them with the best price guarantee to reunite them with music enthusiasts.

Which Types of Records Do We Buy?

The financial value of records varies greatly depending on the artist, year of pressing, cover, and the presence of scratches on the record surface. As Eskici Istanbul, the main musical works we purchase are:

• Gramophone Records (78 RPM): Historical recordings played on gramophones that hold antique value.
• Long Plays (33 RPM LP): Full album first pressings of local and foreign artists.
• 45 RPM Records: Original records featuring unforgettable singles of their time.
• Record Players and Gramophones: In addition to your record collection, old music players in working condition.

How is a Record Appraised?

For a record to be valuable, it is not enough for it just to be old. The record must be in its original sleeve (cover), the cover must not have tears or excessive wear, and most importantly, there should be no deep scratches on the record surface (it should not skip). Our expert team meticulously examines your collection based on these criteria and comes to your address anywhere in Istanbul to make a cash purchase.

"Let your records, which carry the analog soul of music, find the value they deserve and reach new listeners instead of decaying in storage."
